Herbert E. Watkin (b. 1864)

In 1892 the Scarborough Gazette recorded that a Mr Watkin of Newcastle has purchased the ‘surplus stock in trade’ of Mr Inskip along with the remaining lease of the Fine art Galleries above the Central Tramway. Herbert Watkin advertised in directories between 1893 and 1906. The 1901 census states his birth place as York.
