George Simpson Haigh

George Simpson Haigh had a studio in Leeds in 1861. It is not known when he moved to Scarborough but he is listed as a photographer with a studio at North Cliff in Slater’s Directory of the Northern Counties for 1864. His carte de visite also gave his address as ‘North Sands, Scarborough’.

There is a G. S. Haigh working as a photographer in Blackpool (Wellington Gallery and the Pier Studio in South Beach). it is not clear if this is the same person.
