Charles Pickard
In 1929 Charles Pickard was summoned to appear in court in Scarborough for causing an obstruction with his camera. The event occurred in St Nicholas Street while he was taking photographs in the entrance of a local business he erected a barricade to stop people walking in front of the building. Case was dismissed but Pickard was ordered to pay the costs.
