Benjamin Walker

During the early-1960s Benjamin Walker established a photographic studio in Harrogate, named the Victoria Rooms. By October 1867 he was advertising his ‘New Photographic Establishment’, in Valley Bridge Road Scarborough. These he named The Victoria Portrait Rooms. In the Scarborough Gazette advert he claims to have ‘many years experience as a professional photographer’ and produced the ‘Best Class Cartes de Visites, Cabinet Cards and Drawing Room Portraits in all the Newest Styles’.
