Alfred Thornton Chapman (b.1852)

Alfred Thornton Chapman was born in Scarborough in 1852. He if first listed in a directory in 1879 with his studio in Eastborough. It is unknown when he opened his studio in Brook Street. In 1881 he was lodging in Baxtergate in Whitby.

In June 1885 Chapman married Elizabeth Pearson in Pickering. in 1901 he was Boarding with Alfred Wild and family in Woodlesford, Hunslet, Yorkshire.
